I am the Online and Social Media Manager at NOW Magazine, Canada's largest independent weekly. I tell stories about community and culture, with a particular interest in millennials, race, gender, mental health, DIY spaces and tech.

I have been a finalist for the National Magazine Awards and Digital Publishing Awards, and in 2017, I won a Next Generation/Diversity Scholarship from the Association of Alternative Newsmedia.

Outside of NOW, I am a freelance food and lifestyle writer with bylines in House & Home, Food Network Canada, DesignLinesNUVO, MONTECRISTO, and BC Living

Prior to moving to Toronto, I worked at Vancouver’s Georgia Straight where I wrote food, lifestyle and entertainment stories and created a weekly cooking column. In 2014, my work was recognized with a scholarship from Les Dames d'Escoffier.

I have provided copywriting, copy editing, photography, and social media to Shopify, United Way, Fashion Magazine, Refinery29, Kijiji Canada, Ballet BC, and Vancouver Opera.

I have been featured on podcasts like We Really Like Her and Royal Canadian Movie Podcast, and on radio shows: Viewpoints with Todd van der Hayden and Our City with Kirk LaPointe.
